Support — Flight Sim Checklists
Flight Sim Checklists is made by one person, Leon Nwankwo. There is no ticket system and no support bot — email reaches me directly, and I read every message.
Contact
Email leonnwankwo@me.com with anything at all: a bug, a step that looks wrong, a feature idea, or a question about how something works. I aim to reply within 2–3 days.
If you are reporting a problem, these details help me reproduce it quickly:
- Which aircraft and which checklist or flow you were using
- What you expected to happen, and what happened instead
- Your device and iOS version (Settings → General → About)
- The app version, shown at the bottom of the app’s settings
- A screenshot, if the problem is something you can see
Requesting a new checklist
Requests are the main way new aircraft get added, so please send them. If several people ask for the same aircraft, it moves up the list.
Use the checklist request email — it opens a pre-filled message — or write your own to leonnwankwo@me.com including:
- The aircraft — manufacturer, type and variant (for example “Airbus A320neo CFM” rather than just “A320”). Variants matter: procedures differ between them.
- The add-on and developer — if you fly a third-party version rather than the one included with your simulator, tell me whose it is. Different add-ons model different systems.
- Your simulator — MSFS, X-Plane, or another.
- Which checklists or flows you need — the full set, or specific phases such as cold & dark start, approach, or shutdown.
- A source, if you have one — a link to the add-on’s published manual or checklist. This is the single biggest factor in how fast a request gets done, and it keeps the steps accurate.
I can’t promise every request will be added, and I only build checklists from material that is legitimately available — but I reply to every request either way.
Corrections to an existing checklist
If a step is wrong, out of order, or missing, please tell me. Send the aircraft, the checklist, the step in question, what it should say, and a source if you have one. Accuracy fixes go to the front of the queue.
Common questions
How do I clear my progress? Use the “Reset Full Checklist” button inside the app. Progress for an aircraft also clears itself automatically after 24 hours of inactivity.
Does the app work offline? Yes. All checklist content and aircraft images ship inside the app, and no network connection is needed for any feature.
Is my progress synced or backed up? Progress is stored only on your device. It is never sent to a server, so it does not sync between devices, and deleting the app deletes it.
What do you do with my data? Nothing — the app collects no personal information at all. See the privacy policy.
